The new Epic Filler is our answer to customer suggestions over the years. Our customers asked that some items be included as part of the machine, to make it easier for a new brewery to be able to buy a filler and have it come with everything ready to go. Just hook up your air, beer, and CO2 and you're ready to go.
The Epic will have the beer transfer pump mounted to the lower part of the frame, and pre-piped to the tank. High flow CO2 regulators will be pre-mounted and awaiting your CO2 source. The vacuum pump will be pre-mounted and awaiting the cooling water (for the liquid ring). A glycol jacket on the filler's tank will be ready to accept glycol from your glycol system to help maintain low temperatures during filling.
Sensors will monitor the tank level and control the transfer pump, which will be controlled by a programmable inverter drive for smooth ramp up/down cycles to keep the beer from becoming agitated during transfer. Other sensors will monitor the double pre-evacuation and counter-pressure cycles and determine the optimal switching time for fast, trouble-free filling. A large touch screen graphical panel will display each part of the filling cycle, and allow the operator to manually change times through the filling process for different bottle or can types. They can also choose between can and bottle modes to activate the crowners or seamers (if installed).
The entire machine will be enclosed in a stainless steel frame and guards with polycarbonate windows, for safe operation and good looks.
